Karena began her career at CitationAir in September, 2002. In her current role as SVP of Human Resources, she is responsible for the implementation of human resources strategies that contribute to the overall growth and development of the company and its employees. She oversees management of Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Development, Recruitment, Compliance and Administration. Prior to joining CitationAir, Karena managed Human Resources at IMG, one of the world's premier and most diversified sports, entertainment and media enterprises, and then at the tech consulting firm, Mobilocity. Karena earned her bachelor’s degree at the State University of New York at Geneseo, majoring in Business Communications and Marketing. She also holds several Human Resources certifications from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.
