CITATIONAIR AND THE INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN AID FOUNDATION TO PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT FOR HAITI

5/6/2010

GREENWICH, CT., May 5, 2010 – CitationAir by Cessna, an aviation solutions company, today announced they have joined forces with the International Humanitarian Aid Foundation (IHAF) to help meet the persistent need for relief efforts in Haiti months after the devastating January earthquake. Through this relationship, CitationAir customers will be able to donate flight time or dollars to IHAF to fly essential relief supplies to those in need.

“While the initial outpouring of support for Haiti has declined, we at CitationAir understand that the needs of Haiti and its people are still great,” said Steve O’Neill, the company’s CEO. “Therefore, we are pleased to offer our clients an opportunity to donate flight time so that victims of the earthquake can receive proper medical supplies and other relief.”

Flight hours and dollars donated by CitationAir customers will be placed in an account which IHAF can draw on to move doctors and supplies to the area.  CitationAir will cover the cost of aircraft positioning and the fees associated with landing and international air travel.

“We thank CitationAir for their tremendous support in our Haiti relief efforts,” said Pastor Andy Topp, who founded IHAF. “As a result of the generosity of CitationAir and its customers, we will be able to fly essential cargo, like medical supplies, to the people in Haiti who are still suffering from this disaster.”

Before joining forces with IHAF, CitationAir was able to contribute to the relief efforts by providing two flights on their own for victims in need of medical care as well as flying down doctors and supplies to the ravaged country.  To further facilitate relief and aid, CitationAir joined forces with the International Humanitarian Aid Foundation and are happy to offer their customers the ability to join in the global effort to support Haiti in these desperate times.
