CITATIONAIR BY CESSNA ANNOUNCES INNOVATIVE, NEW JET CARD PRODUCT
2/16/2010
GREENWICH, CT., February 16, 2010 – CitationAir by Cessna today announced its latest initiative to deliver better flexibility and value to its customers: a new and innovative Jet Card product. The new Jet Card will offer significant discounts to customers who fly on Non-Peak days 355 days out of the year, while still providing access 365 days a year. These new rates amount to up to a 24% per hour savings over Marquis Jet’s every day rates.
“Based on conversations with our customers, we looked at how we could deliver the best ongoing value all year round. We don’t believe our customers should be paying higher hourly rates every day of the year to cover the cost of those flying on Peak days. CitationAir’s new Jet Card product delivers on our promise to give our customers the most cost-efficient options available while still offering them flexibility and 365 day access,” said Woody Harford, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of CitationAir. “CitationAir continues to be a leader in the industry – no other Jet Card offers customers this much value.
With the new structure, customers may choose to purchase the Single Aircraft option and substantially reduce their hourly rate 355 days out of the year, or select the Fleet option, which guarantees them access to the fleet all year long at only a 10% premium above the Single Aircraft non-peak rates. Peak day flying—which has been reduced to only 10 days annually—is available on both options and is priced at market rates.
Jet Card rates are locked in for 12 months, reloadable at any time and fully refundable after 12 months. To add even more flexibility to their product and encourage trial of the new Jet Card, refunds are available before 12 months for a 10% transaction fee on the remaining balance.
